Dr. Simran Sedani
MD, SFHM, FACP, MHA | Internal Medicine
With over 21 years of experience as an Inpatient Medicine Physician and Hospitalist, Dr. Simran Sedani has a profound understanding of the complexities of the human body and mind, as well as the gaps in the modern healthcare system. Transition of care to and from the Hospital is difficult, not just for the medically frail, but more so for the neurodivergent and those with mental health challenges. She has firsthand experience with the bureaucratic barriers inherent in our health system that prevent newer technologies from reaching those who most need them. In conditions with limited treatment options, it becomes crucial to access safe, non-invasive, and novel technologies that can improve the lives of those struggling with day-to-day living and those with disabilities.
Dr. Sedani was internationally educated at the prestigious University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, completed her residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and spent most of her career in various clinical and administrative roles in a multispecialty health system. She has practiced across two states, managing acute cases and improving care delivery and outcomes in and out of the Hospital setting.
